Employment Opportunity :Transfer Station & Waste Disposal Grounds Operators
The Rural Municipality of Armstrong invites applications for the position of part-time and casual operators for the waste sites within the RM of Armstrong.
Under the supervision of the Public Works Coordinator, the Disposal Grounds Operator operates the site in compliance with the Waste Disposal Ground Operating Permit, Municipal By-laws and policies, and applicable federal and provincial regulations. The operator will be required to take the Manitoba Landfill Operator Certification Program and be responsible for various recycling programs. The operator must be physically able to lift 50 lbs and have a valid drivers license.
